Representatives of BGPharmA met with Dr. Svetlana Spssova - Chair of Medicines Pricing Committee.

BGPharmA was presented as a new organization aiming to unite and consolidate the interests of all generic producers in Bulgaria, having a primary mission to encourage the implementation of a coherent generic medicines policy.

The following issues were brought to the Pricing Committee:

1. Denials of registration of prices for products in a procedure of renovation of the Marketing Authorization. Finding of a mutually acceptable decesion.

2.Difficult communication between the Pricing Committee and the generic pharmaceutical producers.

BGPharmA proposed to find a solution in organizing regular meetings on current issues.

      
3.Some defects of the Medicines Pricing and Positive List Ordinances.  

On behalf of the Committee was expressed a frank willingness for further efforts to find mutually acceptable solutions to the raised issues.
