On the 20th of December, 2006, ABPhM send a letter adressed to Mr. Sergei Stanishev (Prime Minister of Republic of Bulgaria), Mr. George Parvanov (President of Republic of Bulgaria), Mr. George Pirinski (Chairman of the Parlament), Mrs. Meglena Kuneva (Minister of European Affairs) and Mr. Kostadin Manev (President of Patent office of the Republic of Bulgaria)

With the letter, ABPhM shows its concern about the attempted influence from the outside, made by employee of DG MARKT D.2, in the preparation of the new regulation for the Patent Law of Bulgaria, arranging the rules for extention of patents by Supplementary Protection Certificates for medical products and products for plant protection.
